These Terms govern the use of vowrks.com, a directory and contact platform for voice-over artists. By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. About the Service

vowrks.com provides a platform where voice-over artists can create profiles, upload short demo recordings, and receive contact requests from potential clients.

The site does not act as an agent, representative, or intermediary in any commercial agreement between users.

2. User Accounts

To create a profile, you must submit accurate information and keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your login details private.

We may remove or suspend accounts that contain false or misleading information, spam, abusive content, or material that violates these Terms.

3. Demo Uploads

Artists may upload mp3 files up to 30 seconds.

By uploading a demo, you confirm that:

  • you own the rights to the recording, or
  • you have permission to upload it.

You grant vowrks.com a non-exclusive license to store and display the recording on your profile. You may delete your demos at any time.

4. AI Processing and Upload Options

When uploading demos, you can choose between two modes:

AI-Assisted Upload (Recommended):

  • Your demo is analyzed by OpenAI Whisper (for transcription) and OpenAI GPT models (for generating tags and descriptions)
  • Tags and descriptions are created automatically based on your voice characteristics
  • All AI-generated content can be edited by you at any time
  • By choosing this option, you consent to the processing and transfer of your audio data to these third-party services

Manual Upload:

  • You provide your own tags (5 required) and description (minimum 100 characters)
  • No AI analysis is performed on your voice recording
  • Your content will be reviewed by automated content moderation to ensure it meets community standards

We only process recordings to generate descriptive metadata and do not clone, imitate, or reuse your voice outside your profile.

Content Moderation:
All uploads (both AI-assisted and manual) may be subject to automated content moderation to prevent spam, inappropriate content, or policy violations. Content flagged by moderation will be reviewed by administrators before being published.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated descriptions are correct or suitable for any purpose.

5. Profile Links and Backlink Verification

Artists may add a link to their own website. This link will appear on the public profile only after our system confirms that the artist's website links back to vowrks.com.

vowrks.com reserves the right to refuse or remove external links that appear harmful or inappropriate.

6. Contact Requests

Visitors can contact artists through a form hosted on vowrks.com. Messages are sent through AWS SES.

By using the contact form:

  • you confirm that the information you provide is true
  • you accept that vowrks.com only forwards messages and does not verify the identity, background, or intentions of either party

Artists receive messages at their own risk and are responsible for their own due diligence.

vowrks.com takes no responsibility for any inquiry, collaboration, agreement, or dispute that results from contact between users.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the service to:

  • send spam or unsolicited promotions
  • upload copyrighted material without permission
  • upload harmful code
  • scrape large amounts of data
  • interfere with site functionality

We may block or remove accounts that violate these rules.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

We store only the data needed to operate the service. Contact form submissions are kept only for technical logs and moderation. We do not sell or trade personal data.

9. Availability and Changes

The service may change or be interrupted at any time. We may update these Terms without notice. Changes apply once published.

10. Liability

vowrks.com provides a platform as-is without guarantees of accuracy, reliability, or continuous access.

vowrks.com is not responsible for:

  • actions of users
  • agreements or disputes between artists and clients
  • any loss, damage, or claim related to use of the site
  • AI-generated content

Your use of the service is at your own risk.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any dispute shall be handled by Swedish courts.
